What we are most often asked

What happens to our data?
The vault lives on your own Proxmox or a dedicated LXC at our facility. Customer data does not leave your infrastructure. The Claude API runs with EU residency. If you want a local LLM that does not call home at all, Mike-LXC is delivered in the Enterprise variant.
What happens if EnterpriseIQ shuts down?
Lock-in risk is minimal. The full stack is open source: Obsidian, Qdrant, n8n. You own the vault and can move it to your own infrastructure with a simple folder copy. The governance runbook + training material make you self-sufficient.
How long before we see ROI?
Typically within 30 days post go-live. We measure baseline time on 10 hard questions before we start, and again after 30 days. ROI estimates in Standard projects are 8-15 hours/week saved for 5 power users, matching delivery price within the quarter.
Can we extend the vault ourselves after delivery?
Yes for normal operations: new notes, new sub-folders, new templates. Vault architecture changes (new domains, restructuring) we recommend go through a retainer agreement so we preserve institutional memory about your setup.
What about the EU AI Act?
SecondBrain is registered as an internal knowledge assistant (minimum-risk classification) in your AI system inventory. We deliver an audit trail on all AI actions so you can document compliance. If you have high-risk systems, our EU AI Act service addresses that separately.
How sensitive a level of information can the AI see?
You decide. We set up confidentiality filters per domain. Personal data can be redacted automatically. Client-confidential material can be marked as non-ingestible. Everything is logged in the audit trail so you can demonstrate compliance.
